Project Model

The course philosophy underlines a course design that is based on 2 pillars, namely:
1. A theoretical framework (self- protection), and
2. Practical application (self- defense).

Project Model: Theoretical Framework

The theoretical framework discusses various self protection topics designed with the intent of instructing, informing and orientating participants in terms of the concepts of self-protection and self- defense. It also teaches strategies and methodologies with the intent of rather avoiding and/or de-escalating a situation than getting involved in an altercation. Examples of such topics are:

for their own safety. This part of the program entails learning physical self-
defense techniques.

The syllabus is divided into 2 focus areas:

This involves presenting actual courses to groups of ladies.

our courses. Ladies participate and are instructed and guided by
    coaches.

  • 2, Online video courses:
These courses are all available from our online platform and allow
ladies to participate as and when they are able.
Ladies are instructed step by step in the syllabus.
Ladies progress through the course as they demonstrate
    competence via online testing.
There is a Q&A function where ladies may
    interact with coaches.
